Hi,
I was on earlier today and there was some <gulp> discussion about new players. There are probably a lot of old timers out there who think that us newbies don't know anything. Well, I was hoping AFS could be revived. If some "official" training sessions get scheduled, maybe some more of the newbies will join and get trained, and then we can stop annoying the vets.
I do realize that this may have been tried in the past...

yea im still training... rather than on regular basis, it's "on demand" now.
looking at our playing schedules using

i see that our playing time during the weekdays is typically mutually exclusive.... unless we can set to meet during weekend, then we can work something out.

I am on the West Coast... -8 UTC. I am also homeschooled, which makes it a little easier for me. I am available most evenings (6-9pm Pacific Time).

oh then we're on same timezone. i guess my script hasnt collected enough datapoints on your playing regularly to make a more accurate determination. ok then np. last night actually i saw you on but you were already in game so i didnt want to disturb. ill check back nightly and eventually we'll get some training time overlapping.
btw, keep wearing your @afs tag, i need it to test my afs top 10 leaderboard
i need more datapoints to determine whether its my script that's causing you not to show up or if its the alleg servers not updating your stats

OK, no problem. I try to get on during the day, but that is sporadic (my mom wants me to do school). I am very interested in getting more involved with Allegiance and the community. I am also trying to figure out how to advertise Allegiance better. I only found out about it because I waded through pages and pages of FPS/RTS MMO crossovers on Google...
I'll be on late this afternoon (4-6)

hey good job. also i think i fixed the afs leaderboard... so now your name shows up!
farmercy and corelsx (two other afs that have been playing in dec) dont show up because for some reason their names arent on the leaderboard and that's beyond my control...

stats are updating nicely.. now if we can convince more people to wear their afs tag when they play....
