CC 13 Test Game
Thanks for testing and stick around for a week or so and we'll try to get another one going with a better version of the game

Same reason why you didn't get forums for the FS2 alleg mod..beta stuff is completely hopeless. We really need an AU autoloader for core authors...KGJV wrote:QUOTE (KGJV @ Aug 26 2011, 04:26 PM) why no AU?!
QUOTE you shouldn't post new core versions until you have the 100% final version and aren't gonna mess with it anymore
just saying ninja.gif[/quote]
It's fine, it's clearly for testing.

Want bigger games? Log on to play at the official game time: 9pmET/8pmCT/7pmMT/6pmPT every day of the week. Also Saturdays 8pm UTC.
I see even ZLs are cut off from the AU. That's just pathetic.Spunkmeyer wrote:QUOTE (Spunkmeyer @ Aug 26 2011, 11:39 PM) Same reason why you didn't get forums for the FS2 alleg mod..beta stuff is completely hopeless. We really need an AU autoloader for core authors...
Well can't we stage a coup or something? time to take control back no ?
Enough with these incompetent morons; I know they plan to stop before the end of year anyway, at least TE does, but the more we wait, the more people we might definitely lose.
I can put stuff on AU, I'd just rather not risk $#@!ing up a server or people's artwork files the day before SG day

yep, major problem here, just confirmed it myself, drizzo also confirmed it for me
Fresh install of Allegiance, downloaded fig15.cvh and placed it in my artwork directory, and attempting to join a game crashes my Allegiance client. This is likely because the existing rix scout and rix adv scout in XC use the same model, and there is a desynced file error that causes the client to crash due to the files being different.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND PLACE THAT FILE IN YOUR ARTWORK DIRECTORY. IT WILL CAUSE YOUR CLIENT TO CRASH UPON ATTEMPTING TO JOIN EXISTING GAMES.

Tested it on two computers, on the first one it worked fine, no problems and on the 2nd one it crashed while loading fig15.cvh.NightRychune wrote:QUOTE (NightRychune @ Aug 27 2011, 07:22 AM) yep, major problem here, just confirmed it myself, drizzo also confirmed it for me

Excellent work on testing guys. I'm glad to see caution being applied when preparing updates to be deployed.
It's always safer to hold back a day or two for confirmation than to push things out blindly - especially a day before Squad Game time!
You guys can choose to resume your talks about coups, lawsuits, and other shenanigans… or you can identify/resolve the problem that causes the crashes so the updated core can be pushed for everyone to enjoy. You know. Whatever you think is better for the community.
