FurryDon:
What was your original callsign? You have given indications you played recently.
Everyone knows we use persistent names because alleg runs on reputation.
You seem to have had rep issues in the recent past which led to the name change.
Lately, you have been posting increasingly foolish threads in CC like someone we all remember.
I for one would like to know if you plan on clearing this up.
Not that I expect most other people to care, but I don't care for obfuscation.
Some more info for the curious...

If that were true, we wouldn't HAVE hiders.Icky wrote:QUOTE (Icky @ Dec 18 2010, 05:29 AM) Everyone knows we use persistent names because alleg runs on reputation.
If it *is* Weylin and you couldn't tell without a shadow of a doubt the very first time he played or posted, then the hider is doing exactly what it's designed for:
To allow someone to play without being harassed or targeted.
Do you guys honestly think BV or TE would ever play if they didn't have unknown hiders?
Harassment falls on both sides of reputation.
As long as s/he is not disrupting games, STFU and let him/her play.
Hiders (linked callsigns) are useless:Bard wrote:QUOTE (Bard @ Dec 18 2010, 04:05 PM) If that were true, we wouldn't HAVE hiders.

But overall, people don't change while using a hider or different account.Weylin wrote:QUOTE (Weylin @ Aug 30 2010, 01:27 AM) Hiders are important for people like me who repeatedly manage to make a bad reputation for themselves.
Fun fact. I quit using my callsign "Weylin" because it gets booted 4000% more often than my non-weylin callsign that gets booted 1% of the time.
I'm actually wondering if I can make a new forum account without getting in trouble... To just start fresh as a newb that's a quick learner, regularly insults known idiots, and is a biologist that jokes about frozen semen, since that seems to be the requirements to get accepted into XT.

Yeah, that's why I'm not a fan of the Leaderboard.pkk wrote:QUOTE (pkk @ Dec 18 2010, 09:12 AM) Hiders (linked callsigns) are useless:

Overall, I agree. However, on the rare occasion that they do, they should be allowed to stay "anonymous".pkk wrote:QUOTE (pkk @ Dec 18 2010, 09:12 AM) But overall, people don't change while using a hider or different account.
There is no anonymity within this (small) community, anonymity within here is only a illusion...Bard wrote:QUOTE (Bard @ Dec 18 2010, 04:51 PM) Overall, I agree. However, on the rare occasion that they do, they should be allowed to stay "anonymous".
BTW, don't you have a list of hiders within your own squad forum and which squad haven't it's own one?!
