Some people already noticed the connection issues.
Worldstream.nl tech support is working on it since a few days and expects a resolution in the next two days.

There's obviously a connection, it's just that the packet pirates are working at maximum efficiency. I imagine it something like this.
Server: Hey IB, You there?
IB: Yep.
Server: I need some packets, could you send those over?
IB: Yep.
Server: You send those packets yet?
IB: Yep.
Server: Well I never got them, could you resend them please?
IB: Yep.
Server: You still there?
IB: Yep.
Server: We seem to be having trouble receiving those packets, Try another Resend.
IB: ...
Server: Nope, Still no packets, are you still there?
IB: $#@! you. <Leaves>
Server: I found them! They were held up in Chicago for some reason! Are you still there?
And that's how you get 100% packet loss.
