I'm using an USB joystick (logitech wingman extreme digital 3d) for playing allegiance, but i have an usb 3 axis car pedalset too that i wanted to use for some controls.

I tryied to map it as zoom + - and it didnt work.
Then i tryed to map it has any of the X Y Z axis required for moving the ship and it doesnt work neither.
In windows and dxtweak works perfectly, and in other games too.

I think allegiance does not accept commands from a 2nd controller. It happens in some old racing simulators too.
Can you guys make it accepting them?

I'm using Win7 x64 right now, Athlon 64 3200+@2.4ghz, 2 giga of ram ddr1 and an ati radeon x800gto2 16 pipeline. Motherboard is an asus a8n-e

Thanks in advance for the help :D

P.S: In the specifics, the pedals are the Logitech G25 pedals + leo bodnar usb controller

I'm using this controller so they do not require to be connected through the steering wheel.

game is currently hard coded to joystick "0"

These bugs haven't been fixed yet because don't have any developers interested in fixing them up. --Tigereye

change every where in the allegiance code that is hard coded to 0 to iterate over all available joysticks and re size the array that holds the joystick objects. - then extend the map keys and controls UI to display Joy 2 ... n if used and a button or axis is mapped. get started at http://freeallegiance.org/FAW/index.php/Do...ding_the_source - change it, build it, test it, submit it.

You can use Autohotkey to map the 2nd controller to keyboard... it require minimal programming skill.
I can write a basic script for you... can you make the minimum ammount of posts to unlock you message box?
BTW, I like the idea of using pedals to zoom... should be very useful.

Even better, Joy2Key.

That should clear everything up.
