so, i have here a pack to replace all the current Omicron Hive in base sounds (ambient sounds)

These are mostly the same, but cleaner, clearer, more balanced, and some modified ones..

Also, got the mrs. to do some of them...

download, unzip, install into Artwork forlder, etc....

enjoy

Yeah I always thought the inbase sounds are a little unbalanced, Too OP, need to be nerfed.

I thought the roughness of the ambient sounds was part of the presentation.

Fun fact: the "If your species sheds or molts, please have your digicreds updated regularly..." piece was actually made by MS and was nestled in the art repository from the source release.

I was just guessing, it may be digiprints (makes more sense). I have only heard it a couple times total. All I remembered was digi-something.

Obviously implies Omicron society is divided into several sub-species, and some of them shed, some molt, and some do neither. Makes sense for a social insect civilization, although presumably they're still technically one species genetically speaking, and just have major physiological differences caste to caste to the point where they informally refer to themselves as separate species.

Is there a way to remove the in-base sound of muching/eating? It really unnerves me.
