I had to restart a game I was playing the other day because of a funny thing that happened on a map I was testing. I had put rocks in the sector, so they did not move randomly like other sectors would. However, I had NOT set the Alephs. They were still random. When I tried to get into the sector, directly in ffront of the Aleph was one of the asteroids. That made it to where you died as soon as you entered. I thought that it was a core glitch (I was testing my core AND map) untill I went into the F3 screen and saw the asteroid in front of the aleph.

It happens with random asteroids as well and it's absolutely hilarious. Nothing like scouting the beginning of the game, checking F3, and flying into a big 'ol rock!

If you keep autopilot on, it will automatically dodge rocks when using f3 view.

Not if the aleph is in the asteroid.

And that's why you go slow through alephs!

I just thought that it was pretty funny and I felt like posting it to see if it had happened to anyone else.

fuzzylunkin, I use autopilot because I'm too lazy to try to find the alephs myself.

Jimen, that might not help, either. It WOULD make you survive, but there would be no way around it because it was right IN an Aleph. You'd have to either go back through the Aleph or get blown up.

I press the sector I want to go to on the Minimap because I am too lazy to try to find the Alephs and fly to them, avoiding the asteroids myself. I just let the game do it.
