Getting people to shoot nans has always been a problem, but it seems to me that it has escalated out of control recently. I've consistently seen bombers walking 5-6k under constant attack ... and losing only one nan.

What, are we not teaching this in Cadet anymore? Are we not spamming `ae anymore? Are we not booting idiots attacking the bbr anymore?

Why do people think they can out-damage nans? Sure, you can "spike" a bbr but to do that you need to attack at the same time as your teammates, and I don't see people doing that either.

If you need it spelled out for you, here it is:
If you have Mk I weapons, attack the nans. If you have Mk II weapons you can maybe spike the bbr - but only if you form a group with your teammates and rush it together. If you have Mk III weapons you can probably spike the bbr unless your team is very scattered.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

It's the same problem as with every other thing - each person shoots the bombers, assuming that everyone else will take out the nans while they pour their bullets on the much easier target.

I actually don't understand what the problem people have with shooting nans is. They're scouts and thus easy to hit and kill, and they feed your KB and let you flex muscles at the end of the match going "GRAH I PODDED FIFTY FIVE PEOPLE IN THIRTY SECONDS! FEAR MY INTERCEPTOR!"

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

Wow..timely reminder...you must have been in the same game I was today. Watching an expansion die while everyone tried to gat1 down a bomber was worse than listening to fingernails down a chalkboard

Those non nan shooters should realise if you have a missile faction and QF2, that it is the easiest KB you will ever accrue in a game.

Listen to daddy jucto kids. Spiking requires coordination and at least lvl 2 tech. When in any doubt, shoot the nans.

greedy peeps used to want to get the bomber kill because it meant an automatic 3 kills, and instant huge KB boost.

wrong

and at this point I'd consider writing an instructional guide but I know I'd just be wasting my time
so instead I'll just keep my brilliant tactics to myself and you can all fly in circles in PuGs
and then watch helplessly as we wreck everyone in squad games
