We had a friendly SG today RT vs ACE. This was it:

*mcwarren@ACE (yellow/IC/exp) vs Koln@RT (blue/IC/tac + adv exp)
Server: Solap, cc08
Map: Hihigher
Settings: med/med/Normal / SY ON / treasures normal/ conn normal
Size: around 12vs12, 1 observer on each side
Duration: 36 minutes


-We go midhigh with op, tele plants home.

-We spot their op high and our op escort pods themselves and try to kill it, but it's at the rock and we can't stop it. ACE's tele plants midlow close next to U rock.

-Now for some reason my op appears back in my home instead of planting on the ordered rock when it was 500m from it. BLACK MAGIC I SAY!! It's redirected midlow.

-Our op plants as another ACE's op comes into the sector, it rips back to their tele but it's rushed and dies.

-We get tele low for U rock next to their home but it has to plant short due to enemy ints spoted rushing it.

-Our tac comes up midhigh and ACE exp comes up midlow.

-Grav opens the miner hunting season and 3 ACE miners die in short succession.

-We get exp low close since we found an op con for their low sector.

-They try to bomb exp but are spoted and rip out to midlow, try to kill our op but are stopped.

-Adv exp comes up for us while i push op midhigh next to their home and tele midhigh for mining.

-We kill last ACE's miner before they have adv exp.

-We get htts and force cap their exp (even if Fell tried to dock on the red door first ).

-We force cap their home right after that.

RT wins.


GG ACE! It's a pitty i couldn't stay for the rematch, i had a lot of fun.

It wasn't eyed as it built (at least my int wasn't eyed boosting and shooting) so my guess is that ACE didn't see it until it was too late. The exp went up almost instantly and that pretty much ended the bombing before it began (also I can see the logic of bombing the Exp to make bombing the Tac easier). In the end though I think that 10k would have been better used to up the exp rather than get bombers, but hey, I don't com, not even as much as BV does

My favourite moment was ramming BVs bbr. Twice. And then getting the kill (which is why I ended up with 11 kills ). Props to BV though, he was at least heading towards an enemy base at the time

A very fun game.

I'm glad we went with a HTTsrather than mining for SBs. More fun this way.
