Are we still bothering to weed out vets with newb tags?

I got tired of trying to figure out the name and location of the "Report a vet" thread,so I'm starting a new one.

Zengar (0) openly admits to being a vet but claims: "I should be able to keep my 0 tag because I don't play much".

Zengar isn't a vet, he's as new as me. His main is Yurokei. Look it up.

Well, Yurokei's been around as far back as Fwiffo's stats data goes (last summer); he's only played a handful of games, though, so I'd hardly call him a wolf in sheep's clothing. The situation seems to be exactly as Zengar says (he's been around for quite a while but basically never ever plays, which is why he's still a 0)

If I say I am a vet everybody laughs at me but if a newbie with a 0 says it everyone is serious about it...

In most cases it's obvious to see when a vet is about - just check out this hapless soul

Some vets are also errors in the database... Or is this maybe the new "returning"-vet strategy?
