deng i havent been on allegiance in over two years it seems, anyone remember me? whats new? did the star wars mod ever get released? lol im gonna hook up a comp, havent had one in a while using one up at a gas station for free (heh heh) anyway im on xbox live too, not atm but my handle there is "bradsurfing" if anyone wants to drop me a msg or game invite (resident evil 5, cod waw, gears 1 and 2, etc)

I guess you're before my time.
Star Wars mod... exists. It's not balanced and hasn't had a release it a while, so it's only played on rare occasions.
What core were they playing back in '06? DN 4.5? No significant additions since then IIRC, and certain deletions (CC removed 'nix and will eventually include a new faction), but balance is completely different.

Just to add, my last play time was around the DN 4.5 and I would say from my own experience that balance is way better now (at least from the perspective that the other techs get played more and can defeat exp, sup may be a little over powered not sure I don't have the experience to really comment on it but seems good to me but I have ALWAYS loved sup over exp
