Someone's gotta start a topic, so it might as well be me.

Have issues updating?
Updated OK but have issues ingame?
Just want to comment on the good/bad/ugly of the new features/changes?

Let's hear it.

Do you happen to have a link to a 64bit compatible updater? My updater is crashing on me.

NM, found the link to the updated file. We could use a 64bit updater though.

64 bit updater requires some registry fun. It's in the OC somewhere if you can be bothered to trawl it. I'll try and dig it out later.

those on win7 may need to re-download the win7 compatible ASGS.

then again, that might just be my installation $#@!ing up.

(don't forget to turn on the new graphics options in esc menu for full awesomeness)

(and to change your bandwidth setting before you play any really big games so you can enjoy lag-less large games)

Ok with Vista Home premium no issues at all...

well the DX9.0 August download asks what folder to put the files, while not Allegiance it is nessecary to run it, and many may not know where the files are supposed to go. A bit of expansion of explaining which version, what to do, and where to put the DX .dlls may be in order. Then again maybe it was something to do with my setup of Vista *shrug*

edit1: lagless games

edit2: it's my first peek at R5 and the very first thing that came to mind when using the investing screen; the learning curve just got a lot less steep

Why am I supposed to hate Imago again
Why am I supposed to hate the Count again
Why don't I know who else worked on the release

edit3:

Oh Rock phhhhhbbbbtt

This is a significant change especially for greater then two team games. Im sincerely believe this is going to change the face of the game from a two team event whether five or forty on a side to big game slugfests with multiple alliances and you just may finally see the numerous small games going on all at once too. We shall see, we shall see.
