and I saw this:
Are they running tests with allegiance? Is it our version?
Am I posting this as inspiration for a dev who is looking for something cool to do involving changing our gfx engine to do all kinds of new cool things?

Darn good question...
Considering allegiance's age, it is entirely possible that the only reason it is listed at all on Nvidia's menu is its release date.
This might be worth looking into.

That just means that if you want to get the 3D glasses out (steroscopic 3D), Allegiance isn't the best game for it (would look very buggy according to that screenshot). Note the specific menu you are on (nVidia control panel/Steroscopic 3D/View compatibility with games). As long as you aren't playing allegiance with 3D glasses, that "Not Recommended" means nothing.
