I myself like lrm killers. long-range. my second favorite if i was stuck using it would be mrm seekers.

...and because you can't mount killers on scouts or figs, which are the most common missile-toting ships. DFs are also the best (of DF/seeker/QF) at miner O and at BBR/HTT defense. And if you know how to use them they are a lot of fun (like making Ryjamsan eat 3 of them in a row when he is chasing you in an int).

First, I'm sure you mean Hunters. Killers are basically longer range dumbfires fired from SFs and are delightful in their own way.

Second, seekers (except Seeker3 some say) suck. People like Dumbfire missiles for the following reasons:

150 damage,
150 damage,
150 damage,
and most importantly,
150 friggen' damage. It takes two DF 3 to take out a miner's shield. In comparison, that's four Seeker 3 and six QF 3. For comparison, 2 is the rack size of a basic scout, 4 is the rack size of an enh fig, and six is bigger than the rack size of an advanced fig.

Am I the only one who saw this from the main page as "why do so many people like SRM"?
