I log into asgs normally, it launches Allegiance, when I click on current game listings it attempts to log into the lobby and gives me "ASGS Authentication Falure. Please restart the game using ASGS".

Everything worked just fine pre 2.2.

abnormal installation of updates? try a full install with the latest setup.exe in the default installation folder etc.

Have you tried ASGS->Help->Update/repair critical files?

I tried that this morning, it didn't help. I tried it again just now and it works. Weird but I'm not complaining - problem resolved thanks ogo!

Closing as solved.

Ack, it is back. After I close Alleg it says I have a "connectivity failure. Check your internet connection" at the bottom of ASGS. My connection is pretty stable here and shouldn't be an issue.

I've tried repairing it again and no success.

I had the same problem just now too. It seems the update from 2.1 to 2.2 isn't working. I was put in a endless updating loop. It would run the update and not update anything. I hit login again and it would say it's going to update. The Help > Repair fixed it.

I repaired again now and it works again. Any ideas to get it to work consistently?

edit: and I crashed and it is failing again. This is really frustrating.

When I update/repair, after it's finished it says that it's unable to launch asgs, though I can just open it normally after hitting ok.

Anyway, i would like both of you guys to post your specs (use the template). Finding a pattern here would be nice...

Same issue with the update loop, it just keeps updating but goes no further.
