Hi everyone;

Running Allegiance perfectly from a fresh install. My problem is that on the auto-update (in-game) it is trying to download the latest BSG core but says that the "Update Server is Busy". I checked in UpdateError.txt like it said and it said

"Data for file D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Allegiance\AutoUpdate\colonialambient_10.ogg is wrong. Tried to download 10 times. The HTTP Update server may be too busy or missing the file. Or there may be a problem with your ISP or proxy server. Look at this file in a text editor/web browser for details."

I think my system specs are a non-issue here so I can post them later if you really think it is necessary. Note that Allegiance is installed on drive D: (however, that IS my system drive). I guess my question is... is the update server really busy? After multiple attempts over the last day, I'm beginning to question whether or not that file exists. I couldn't find a link to download raw BSG core either. Any help here would be hot;

You've probably downloaded from a mirror with a corrupt copy of installer. Re-download from a different mirror and try again.

Well, I was having issue when I tried to install allegiance, I downloaded asgs from this mirror/location:

http://www.freeallegiance.org/FAW/index.ph...0xc000007b'

Because I was receiving that error.... After the auto-update, my allegiance.exe got deleted (see other topic files about that issue) so I downloaded dogbones' DX9_alpha client since I use that anyways.

Andon gave me the latest BSG core files, posted here:

http://www.matchfiregames.net/allegiance/bsg_artwork.zip

And after deleting filelist.txt (reseting auto-updater) everything auto-updates fine. ALL GOOD!

Well, that is another way around it ;) Closing as solved.
