ACE - IC Sup (mcwarren4) vs PK - Bios Exp/Sup/Tac for last few minutes (aarmstrong)
Hi Higher; 1.0, 1.15, Normal
Game size at start 13 vs 13? (can't remember but that's what it was most of the game)

ACE outpost mid high forward next to enemy home. PK initial op goes high next to our home. Our initial tele builds at home. PK build exp mid low middle. ACE takes low next to PK home with an outpost, build sup mid high middle. No miners die early in the game for either side. Still early in the game PK sends an outpost next to our home mid low and it builds. A sort of stalemate ensues for awhile. We get galvs up, galv high and mid low. PK bombs our mid high outpost. ACE takes middle with a tele, and later retakes mid high forward with a tele. PK bombs our low outpost and a tele we put low. They get a adv cons and a sup high next to our home. We kill an exp con they send low. They start killing our miners. They get hvy ints and htt.

Turning point in the game: We form up for an uneyed bomb run on their high sup. Team is about ready to go in and an htt pops through the aleph they were formed up on. None of us have a gun, only nans and the bomber had no turrets. They cap our garrison. Our nans followed the htt trying to hit it with dumb 3 while our bomber thinking we have plenty of nans goes in and dies to a single heavy int.

From there they kill our last miner and start camping teles with hvy ints and int bombing them. After awhile they eventually get them all but ACE defended them well due to hvy booster, small shield 3, dumb 3, gat 3 figs. On their final assault they bring two bombers in from different directions which we narrowly kill, but an htt slips past the D and caps the sup. PK wins at 1 hour and 14 mins.

GG both sides.

(PK can fill in other details of territory gained/lost since we couldn't see everything on your end)

What?! Who doesn't bring a gat on their scout, what if you need to kill a probe or something? And there was nobody in base?!!

Sounded painful, bad luck ACE.

You can always ram a probe.

But yeah, I bring a gat in my scout cause its faster to shoot it down then to ram it down.

You did have an int escort too. I happened to be trailing behind our bomber run when you popped through. I turned, had to load gatt, and fired off a few missiles and gatt. I actually managed to get the htt hull down to half, and strip you of your shields and a little hull, but your int podded me.

It definitely was one of those "interesting plays" that go on the highlight of the night reels. :D

What I don't get is that I had proxed the aleph. I guess they came in between my initial mine packs. Stupid minepacks!

Why would you use minepacks instead of prox.
