"My rank is not increasing!"

For those who won't bother to search the wiki, keep complaining about broken leader boards, etc. I post this again.

In order for a game to count towards the leader board, the following ALL must happen:

1. TAG (Our software to record the game win or loss) must be running on the server. (Please note that about 50% of the time on the Planet servers it is not running. It is out of our hands. Only the server admin (aarmstrong) can restart it.) How can you as a player tell? Simple, about a minute or two after the game ends a message is broadcasted by "HQ" Game # XXXXX "main game" has completed. That is showing that TAG successfully recorded the game.

2. You must have played in the game for more than FIVE minutes AND be in game when it ends to get the win points.

3. The game must have had 10 or MORE players for 50% of the game time. (Hence why most small games do not count)

ALL of the above must have occurred for the game to count.

Your points shown at the end of the game have NOTHING to do with the leaderboard. They are there, so you can tell everyone who can not read, what your stats were for that game. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

The leaderboard is cached and only updates approximately every 15 minutes or so.

As far as rank is concerned, mine has leveled off. How can I raise the magnitude of this attribute?
