Was surfing through this rather nice large list of coop games and was surprised to not see Allegiance listed, so I added it. I'm assuming that there's no community taboo against doing so. If I have erred, somebody will certainly go and correct things.

Considering co-op play is basically a single-player game modified to play multiplayer, I say Alleg falls in to the wrong category. If anything it's an RTS MMO. Allegiance was built SOLELY for the multi-player aspect, not the co-op aspect. But I personally don't mind it being on the list, it'd probably mean more players.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
I just added alleg to wikis boardgame list.
