When a newbie asks a question on all chat, it becomes difficult to answer him when he has you muted without even realising it.
Please change the default in R5 to be not muted.

I'll take a look. I did not realize it defaulted to on, an over site on our part.

It can be changed on the next installer, IMO no codechange needed.
Just because FilterLobbyChats is a registry setting.

It's also in the ingame settings. press "Esc-G M A" To turn off the filtering. I'd rather leave all chat filter on since I beleive it was intentioned to do earlier for some reason. To unfilter lobby. Esc G M L.

I think it would be more convenient to keep it as is. I know PMing a newbie is kind of a pain, but having NOAT spam drive them nuts so they can't follow chat, and don't even bother is even worse. (NOAT PMs are not muted by default, just noat:all)

I didn't, TW. Never knew how to turn it on/off.

As a NOAT whore, i feel this new default defeats my purpose in life.
