The music is really cool and such, but when I turn it on, my game starts to lag. Any method of countering this problem? I hate playing games without music.

In-game music causes lag! =(
Music? The sound of minigun's firing as they chew through helpless scouts should be all the music you need. Music. Ha!

You are right about this, the original sound track does set the mood, and from what I remember last time I tried this, it responds well to the stages of the game also.Curiosity wrote:QUOTE (Curiosity @ Mar 27 2008, 07:05 AM) Music sets the mood...
The lag you are experiencing is caused by your computer caching the music I think. When it was on CD I also noticed a bit of a lag as well while the CD spun up. Allegiance seems to hang until the music is ready to play
I am going to give these suggestions a try: running a media player with just these Allegiance tracks. However it wont respond to game events...

The unique thing about Allegiance's soundtracks that I don't see in other games is that they change with the situation. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
ImmortalZ: When I said lag, I meant Allegiance seems to hang until the music is ready to play. Sorry I didn't elaborate well on it.
