there got to be a good reason why some of the people that been ban when they are not in the newbies server

Doesnt look like BV banned you all manually.
Did you guys play on a server with "newbie" in the server name or something like that?

edit: Ah nevermind - According to Stingrae someone changed the server name.. Who had gc?

Eh, it happened to me as well. Rather annoying. I remember reading something about the Newbie-in-name=ban somewhere, but I forgot it before joining the game called "Non-Newbie Server" or something.
As a side note, I'm also rather saddened by the lowering of level limit for the newbie server. I got to comm there for 1/2 a game before my level was too high. Not much chance any more for some of us to try comming before we're restricted to pickup games. Although maybe this should go in a different thread. It is rather frustrating. I passed rank (5) after about 20 hours of gameplay time, probably because I was lucky on the winning team. But anyways, could you consider this?
