Can anyone confirm it is impossible to "Target Nothing" these days?

I always cheat and use "Z" to target self.

It never has been if there is an enemy in the sector. Otherwise hit 'X', and it still works for me.

Like Onion said, it is possible only if there are no enemies in the sector. If there are enemies present, the computer automatically targets the nearest person /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

was working on a fix for this, maybe I'll start up on it again when I fix my comp. (For those that still want to argue about it, piss into the wind plzkthx)

If you fix it, please be sure there is a way for me to emulate the current behavior. If it changed I might be helpless for months.
