I never see anyone playing with a wingmen and i really wonder why.
Even the best whore can't defeat a 2 vs 1 with equal tech, miner killing is almost to easy with someone who sticks to you like glue. In theory even massive dogfights are made easier if you and your wingmen stick together (within weapons range of eachoter, and attacing the same target).
Okay it does take a whole lot of practice to get it right... but if you have someone you play with often, isn't it worth it?
To effectively use a wingmen strat in alleg you need to take into consideration the following points:
1. Stay within weapon range of eachother.
2. Comunicate on selecting targets (always attack the same target)
3. Use the same thurster/boosting/cloaking strategy.
4. Understand the "dogfighting area" and stay out of the center. (Teamwork's useless when you get attacked from all sides)
5. Ammo and missile conservation. Do not overkill a target, specially not with missiles... It's easy to kill the first 3 enemies, it's the ones after that you need to save up for. Specially since dogfighting areas get smaller the longer the dogfigth lasts (convergence of targets)
