I joined a game yesterday that had been going on for 90 minutes. It was Champy (Giga) vs Adaven (IC) on Star.
I decided the time was ripe for VICTORY (aka saving Adaven from the bad advice Noble was giving) and decided to Bomb Champy's Tac. Screaming for nans about 5 minutes netted me 1 vet and a 4 man newbie swarm of cute IC scouts (and a bunch of useless voob figs) and we successfully blew up the offending tac.
After various screams of "omg that was cool" "wow we roxx0r" and "holy cow spidey is even cooler and more badass than I heard" from the newbies I decided to take them on another joyride to the enemy starbase. This time the various newbies were so hyped up from our last epic run they were actively asking on team chat over and over "hey, is there anyone I can nan?" After tricking all the newbies to nan me on yet another bomb run (1 vet nan a bunch of noob nans a bunch of voob figs) we successfully destroyed their Starbase.
Adaven had to leave to go ride his tri-cicle over to his clown girlfriend's house shortly after so he rightly choose to drop command on me. Lyko - tired of seeing me and my newbie swarm stealing all the glory (or perhaps just scared of being booted by an irate spidey) joined me and my epic newbie swarm on a lovely tp 2 drop by H_Mallow to blow up the Rebel Supremecy and cement our victory.
So once again big shout out to all the newbies who nanned and helped us win the game (none were ranked higher than 3). Sadly I don't remember any of their names except Lv?????(0) but I hope you stay and enjoy Allegiance!
Newbie Shoutout
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

Double post, I was so excited to reply while you were on line that I got my fingers in a knot.

Is this the sign up sheet for the waiting list to nan spidey?
P.S. It is impossible for you to be more awesome than someone heard.

I guess trying to teach spidey the way of the bomb train has been at least mildly successful.
Perhaps one day spidey will get even a small fraction of my awesomeness, until then I guess moments like these will drive him towards that goal.

I don't want that time to be a @#(!-storm of hate and schadenfreude.

spidey, some of those newbies were still going on about the nanning well into the night. Thanks for that. Being taught that I could be the most valuable player on the team just by loading a nan was the thing that made me famous, and I wish I could remember who it was that actually took the time to explain to me how to load a nan.
