I've been booted multiple time when a newb who was trying to give comm back after I dropped clicked the wrong button.

Booted for telling a pilot to STFU, unfortunately that same pilot became comm about 20 seconds later and booted my ass, was quite funny tbh /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I got booted for dropping comm on the highest ranked vet on the team after our comm dropped and I somehow ended up w/ it...

Sheffy's "epic phail" boot has to be the best ever. It was posted somewhere on the boards a while back. Basically, there was some voob being really annoying, so sheffy decided to boot him. But he clicked the wrong button, making him commander. The voob proceeded to boot sheffy along with most of the vets on the team.

I have never laughed so hard at a post on these forums as that.

The first time I ever saw MW, he was sitting next to an enemy miner in his heavy int for over 30 seconds without shooting it. So, the first time I ever saw MW I booted him- and guess what, it resulted in his very first forum drama!

What I'm trying to say here is I popped MWs cherry.

That was either the same game I played in, or I played in one extremely similar. Official story from all parties involved goes like this. Game was VERY stacked (like 5 to 8 or 9 for nearly 15 mins) and we were on the losing side. Realizing it over, comm proposes resign, but the (#)s on the team all vote it down. Our star unnamed vooblet jokingly proposes a mutiny, and loses it. But when the mutiny loses, our comm decides to try and boot the vooblet for the mutiny. Needless to say, the promote button got pressed instead, but the real kicker is what came next. The vooblet, purportedly assuming this was the comm's way of resigning, decides it's a funny idea to boot-resign the game... I got lucky enough to be the first person hit with his bootstick too, so I was REALLY confused.

I've aparently popped many cherries in that respect lyko. It makes me sad sometimes knowing that I've hurt so many people. Then I remember that they might have learned something from it....

I remeber once not too long ago, I joined BoG/MW's team to help get the game off the ground. As soon as the game launched he booted me before I even loaded to the hangar screen. Nice to know Booting the Gooeyfish is more important the buying your opening con's.
