Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

lol I remember reading that out:

http://austin.bluedepot.com/myallegiance/newsframeset.htm

It's that page that started all colors in allegiance.

ohh, and all those dates on the whrns, are 2001. You can see some of them relating to vly's post for the vnboards from webarchive posted in general.

And if there is anything your looking for and the link isn't working or what ever, just say, and I dig around a bit for it.

I have a ton archived from the web archives. But as I devote more time to the historical section I might come-a-knocking.

Thanks! All saved for later retrieval.

Ready for a project YP? I have wanted for a long time someone who was part of the group to write the early history of events. Sort of a time line with descriptions. Then I hoped the others who were involved could flesh it out. Would you be willing to undertake that? The starting point probably should be around the 1.25 release and go from there for the next three years.
