Bacon_00 is hosting a community-wide event on a custom-made 100 sector map this Sunday June 3rd at 3PM EDT (7PM GMT). It sounds like it will be a blast!

The YvB system will be used to assign teams. If you'd like to play, you must answer "YES" to the ASGS poll the next time you log in. The system should begin overriding all squadtags with @Y and @B about half an hour before the event begins.

Look for "BACON's 100-SECTOR GAME" to come online at 2:30pm EDT this Sunday June 3rd.

So people will be required to log out then in to get theri tag?
Apparently a California "cabin" is any place more than 4 blocks from a McDonalds.

Just clarifying. Will it boot people already in game out? Like when BV drops CDT tags?

Nope, it shouldn't boot players out since it isn't reassigning new squadtags... it's only overriding them temporarily.

Zasper, it EDT is 4 hours behind GMT. 3PM EDT will be 7PM GMT.

Soooo, login with name@squad still and you'll end up with name@squad(Y) for instance. Right? Just confirming we don't have to remove our tag to log in.

how will people know which tag to put on?

check the asgs web page? list published? some form of automated asgs message saying you are on team [team y/b]
