/ninja.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ninja:" border="0" alt="ninja.gif" /> Umm.. I just thought I would suggest something.
I read this: http://www.allegacademy.org/beta/betaguide.shtml
and it helped me alot... If someone would make an up to date version of that guide, I am sure it would help the newer players understand the game alot better! Thanks I gues...
What allegiance newbs need....

You cant read Cdt before you start playing. Some of us prefer to research before we dive in head first, and a 'new player's guide' is a perfict thing to check first.
So I guess I have something to do at work, besides sit and wait.

The crash course is good, but it only tells you what things are and how to use them.Adaven wrote:QUOTE (Adaven @ Apr 7 2007, 11:01 AM) Crashcourse ?
The guide that I linked tells you alot about how to play.
When I first started Allegiance, I spent two weeks reading the entire Allegiance Academy site because it was the closest thing I had to a manual. Personally, I have to read all manuals or I loose credibility when ever I say RTM!!! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Then I joined Cadet and I read it again and again. The entire site is useful.
BTW...

Yeah, same here, I read up on the whole Academy site. Though nothing beats learning by receiving a good thrashing /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

i downloaded allegiance, read the academy before + while it dled (i think)
then i played the training missions a few times until i knew exactly what they were talking about.
then i sound i needed to make a paypal payment of $1 to play...
screw this, i have no paypal and no card, and i'm not paying on principle of when i searched for "free space shooter" i would be getting something for free.
so i played the last training mission 6 for quite a while, seeing how many waves i could take.
then i forgot about allegiance and did something else.
then i found it again and i didn't need to pay $1, and then... i am here now
