First off, its GREAT your concerned about your skill and are looking for advice.

But for one what you should be concerned about is helping your team, kills CAN be game winning but the power of the mundane EWS Probe more so.

Also dedicated miner D can make or break a team.

Hi krunkjuice!

From seeing you on the newbie server, you have a decent grasp of certain aspects of the game, you know how to fly a bomber, you know what a galv is and things like that. If you haven't done so already I think you could now benefit from playing in the main server a bit, but it will be quite overwhelming at first and you may find yourself unsure of what is going on initially!

Also, sign up for the next @Cadet class. To find out about @Cadet and how to apply, click here. In summary, it is an 8 week course, and completing it will give you more respect in the community and you may well find some squads come looking to sign you up. But that is some way away, you still have much to learn but are on the right path /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

In my experience as an ex-cadet, yes. You learn quicker because the information is fed to you in a more concentrated location. Each week you're given a set of reading you have to complete and tasks to do in-game. Over the 8 week period of the course, you don't have to stress about where to find certain information. There's a private forum for cadets so that you can ask any question you want without being ignored or ridiculed. You're pointed and fed most of the useful available information on a different subject each week so you don't have to go hunting through the documentation that's been spread out all over the Allegiance sites.

If I hadn't taken cadet, it would've definitely taken me a lot longer to have been useful in-game.

It's a self-paced course, though... so you get what you put into it. Good luck! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
