I am a graphics whore. I want to play Allegiance, but its so dated graphically. Are there any games like this with a little graphics overhaul?

It's not that dated, I'd call dooms blockiness dated. Maybe you could stop being so superficial? /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

install some of the hi-res packs (**at your own risk**) if that'll make you feel any better =P

The hi res packs work great, havent had a problem. And they make the game look even better.

There is games similar to allegiance with better graphics, but none with the same level of gameplay, I suggest the same as everyone else download the hi res packs and all the "extra" little "modifications" that are available first. If you still cant deal with it, feel free to make me some new ones /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

P.S. The first time I ever ran into an asteroid after a year of playing was when I downloaded the Hi Res packs, they just looked so damn pretty /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

Spawn /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Edit: The "mods" and high res packs are avialable via either Mesials website or via Madpeople

Eh, Allegiance gets flashy at times. While I personally value graphics myself, only in Allegiance will you find the mental workout no other game has. It's fun.
