Title says all.

I turn off sound effects to get a better performace when I'm on the older PC, but then I miss the missile lock warning (so instead of timing CMs, I either spam them like mad or look for the missile icon when the space is clear enough /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />).

Yeah this would be cool, I like to play with the sound off because it is annoying, not to mention the non stop idiotic voice chat spamming.

yeah, this is essential for ppl who's speakers arent working,

I think an indicator thing like the cloaking icon or autopilot ones on your HUD would be nice. I can't use the volume later at night because even at it's lowest it is still annoying with the voice spamming.
