In case you can't tell, this is an anti "OMG Get the $#@! off my turrets noobs. NEED VET GUNNERS NOW!" post.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

It's easier to keep on reloading and shouting stop shooting than explaining the nanning procedure. Nevermind the huge lead nans require to hit anything.

If I really can't trust someone enough, then I ask him/her to come along in a scout, to be cannon fodder.

If I have a vet available I also put him on nan.

If the vote was meant to be mutually exclusive where newbie takes one role and vet takes the other, then I voted wrong and am a dumbass.

If you can't have at least two vets in addition to the bbr pilot, you're pretty much screwed anyway.

Edit: absolutely no newb on TF turret.

pkk's is better

if you keep reloading you automatically arm your missiles as well thus raising your sig (if you had missiles down). Of course it does take a while to mount and reload a turret and can leave your bbr and/or nans at risk.

if you have a free cargo slot for some reason you could unload one turret then mount it and un-mount the other, then un-mount the first again...
