Ok, so we are having a lan party tonight, and I get a bunch of people all setup and we are logged in. Boom. allegiance is gone. ASGS protection tripped.

WTF is the point of having nat bypassing if clients behind the same ip address having to be exceptioned?

So when like an entire dorm desides to play they have to get exceptioned?

please fix this asap. I would like to play tonight during the lan party.

our public ip is :71.216.155.110

Thanks.

In the past I remember to play Alleg on LANs you often needed to use a program called DXPort, though I have no idea what the story is now with FAZ3.

Forget about DXPort, it is not needed anymore.

You need to tell Pook about it. Send him a pm. With more than 3 (I think) people connecting from the same IP, you trip the protection. Pook is quite fast with allowing you in. (We ran into the same problem on our GB/RT/PK meeting in Stuttgart)

ASGS Protection is an anti-flood mechanism, not a NAT-solving mechanism.

If too many requests come in from the same IP, ASGS will block for 15mins in order to protect against password dictionary attacks.

Try having each player log in after 30s or something, rather than everyone clicking the button simultaneously.
