My story: I'm Star Wars pilot who could use a bit of a new experience (another game) and some of my fellow SW squadmates are Allegiance pilots also, so I decided to follow in their steps and see what the fuss is all about /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

So far, I must say

1) This game is FREE? Wow. Amazing /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

2) This whole thing has been done by fans on a volunteer basis? The coding and software is so professional! Wow! Amazing /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

3)Game itself seems to rock with the MP capabilities. A Commander actually giving tactical orders to pilots, and gunners manning turrets? Wow. Amazing /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Ok I'm done. I applied to @Cadet, looking forward to it.

There's a fair amount of TRA flying around, Weedman, Da_Muck, Sniper1, Burnin1 that I know of. Welcome and I hope you fall into the same trap as your TRA counterparts have.

i guess it won't be like original SW games, but you might want to check them out.

has anyone pointed you in the direction of the academy?

and told you to do the training missions first?

and only spend time on the newbie server to figure out the controls, then move onto the real servers.

also, if you see any @alleg people, you can ask them questions, its what their there for.

you can also just ask questions in-game anyway, though sometimes people are too busy to answer, often better to ask on the all chat channel, unless it gives away what your team is doing "how do i get on a bombers turret" kinda tells the other team that your side is bombing (people dont like you telling the enemy your sides secrets /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> )

Anyone who installs the game automatically has an icon linking to the Academy put on thier desktop. Unless they override it.
