Back in the days of R2 /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> , pressing X would target the closest hostile, i.e. the closest enemy . Now we've got to R3, and you press it, it seems to do the same function as E, and just target the closest enemy (cons, carriers etc.).
Anyone got any ideas as to how this change creeped in?

i think a few things you didn't touch changed (posted on some)
[obvious]has your keymap changed / have you re-installed / downloaded the new keymap and forgotten you used to have x do something else to what its default is now?[/obvious]

*rubs eyes* I read this as "Targeting Closet Hostile" and I thought there was a command to target Immy that I never knew about.
There's an idea for a suggestion tho.
A target button that will lock on to the highest ELO in a sector. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

And Madp, no, I haven't reinstalled/changed keymap etc.
I just updated from R2 ->R3 like the rest of us.
And as well as a "target immy", we need a "target bahamutz" lol.

R3 pushed a newkeymap out i believe to add "print screen" / screen shot power
or was it something else it changed, the default one, not the modified one?
its why i asked
target highest kb... = target self?
