All I can say is.. wow.. long game.. if someone wants to summarize it, feel free to, while I go put a slug in my head /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> ggz to all someone said it was the 2nd longest game.. oh yeah sup,exp,tac,and sy were all involved.

I find it kind of funny that V3G3TA & SOB_Larry are listed as newbies in the picture.
Imagine how much better that game would have gone with two veteran commanders involved.

Apparently one CAN have too many toys...Basically, we had almost EVERYTHING you could use to win the game. Flag 4, SBs, Hvy Bombers, all the Adv ships, every single GA, almost every weapon...and got pwned because everyone wanted to whore rather than nan, or TP2, or anything like that...my TP2 run was $#@!ed up when a certain SOMEONE ( /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ) walked his pod to my beacon (which was for the run) and Gappy followed him...two pods, and that was the ONLY time the ENTIRE team was co-ordinated. All downhill from there...even our FLAG FOUR!!! got raped.

Oh well, GG Yellow. Suck it, blue!

Well we would have had much more elo that game if they didn't leave like they did and mess up elo (that's what the newbie rank is all about) Check out the win percentage /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yeah it was tricky gameplay, but what really helped was having c rocks all alephs from our home.. worked great against forward bases instead of hvy ops which would be owned with a joint sb run.. I think we lost like 4 sups and a couple tacs.. there were only two u rocks on the entire map.. one in our home.. the other in the center aleph (we were playing hi higher) v3g took center and managed to get an op mid high and mid low (our op push early in the game to mid high next to their home owned us, no nan heh) our miners lived quite a good while in the first hour and a half.. after that asf's ripped with their tri mount utl/snip.. I don't think we had a tac for more than 15min.. why I didn't dump the cash to up it.. both my tac's were forward tac's since we didn't have a si rock close to home. And the rest of the gameplay was back and forth bouncing of owning sectors.. galving owned you guys.. your two pushed sy's owned but finally popped your 2nd.. that's about all I have.. yah I finally bought upped gar about hour 3 of game.. got the tp2 finally heh.. and we tp2'ed the exp for starts.. it was a 3k walk to exp with reg bomber spam.. then your sup mid high.. i was surprised that you guys didn't buy an extra sup to put high on your side, or put a forward sup in mid high (you'd rather galv the c rock)

from what I see with the 2 different pictures.. Veg is a newb in both but Larry is a vet2 on one and qa newbie on the other? How does that work?

When they exit game, they show as newbie i believe. First picture was taken for some time after the second picture by crono.

Damn - That was a hard struggle to get Topgun to buy us the tools we needed. At some stage he sat on nearly 20k and a couple of people started to buy rescue probes to finally get TP1 research going. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

(and we never got all Sup GAs even through we had the money -> no missile dmg, missile lock or ship agility)

It was hilarious how we had to organize everything over private message since the mainchat was just chaos and our Com deaf and a little bit overcharged (I cant blame him - must have suffered several heart attack whenever our exp was under attack and ripped all his hair off after another con/miner got killed)

I also liked the moment (shortly after I joined) when I asked for htt and he refused to give one. He threatened to boot me and I got like 3 or 4 pms saying: "Dont worry - just ignore him and whore for a while". He didnt gave me one until the very end.. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

The situation:


We had home Exp that was very close to high Aleph. A Sup in 7 and later 12. Its not worth to mention all the other stuff that died anyway. We were able to hold those sectors until end. They had Upped Garr and home tac. Exp in 3 and Sup in 1. Ops+Teles all over the map (But those close to our sectors got allways galved pretty quickly). They got a SY in 11 and wasted a few Caps on our Garr. Fragtzack capped the SY with 2nans but they bomb it and we later got an OP there. A new SY was building in 4 but died as well.

After finally getting the Tech - Adaven and Fragtzack did a damn good TP2 job. We killed their EXP and I think a couple of miners died too while ours survived angry SF attacks. Another TP2 kills their Sup in 1. Now they are without Pulseprobes and Plasgen cheese - we get a few more htts out. I sneak low and prepare myself to cap Garr (green door facing aleph). A TP2 gets rdy for their Tac and our bombers can kill it 3seconds before I cap the Garr (after meeting a SY con going low that eyed me - I guess Souvlaik, who was behind me, prepared a 'cap after build' run).

Aarm and Pico podded endless swarms of SBs and SFs and probably killed a couple of Miners.

It was amazing how quickly the game turned around once we got tp2 up. Thanks grav, frag, DD and the other co-conspirators for coordinating those flawless runs.
