My connection dropped and I could not get back on. I dropped just after we had stopped their bomb run on our midhigh op.
Anyone fancy filling me in on the rest that happened? Did we get AB2 soon after?
Seeing as it carried on for another hour after I dropped I am sure quite a lot may have happened. Thanks to whoever took over comm, and thanks to all the players. Up to dis-connecting it had been a rather enjoyable game.

Summary of game.
IC Enh Carrier w/ sup(lol!) for first 25 minutes or so. Killed your miners. Didn't let you mine. etc.
Then I started lagging.
During a time which I was basically useless/outofgame for about 10 minutes, team fell apart(somewhat) in a moment of weakness, we lose all miners by the time my connection settles down.
I had told DD to grab comm as I restarted my computer. He assumes that we had bbrs, and so ups the garr with my 13k or so... O_O
He notices we don't have bbrs and gets them. By this point we have no miners. We try to bomb, failing to hunt3. We also lose sup low.
So.. I've got the stack, and I've got an upped garr. Basically, we carrier bombed... carrier goes in first, bbr plows through, podded nans get pu at carrier, new nans rip in. We did this to a bunch of your bases. Eventually we get your first tac. But your team had been mining, so plenty of time to finish our team off.
During all of this we defend our starbase from SBs. I decided not to get another miner.(basic miner vs adv tac?! no way) I get us small shield 3 and tp1 with our money.
We do some fun carrrier + tp1 reg bombing. We blow like, another tac I think, then we get a tac in your home, and your garr. Your team had gotten a backup tac tho, midlow. They eventually rebuild garr. Meanwhile we try to tp1, failing. And we let you mine(nothing to kill the miners in, basic tech).
We are mostly useless for a while, as tp1 scouts get spotted and shredded(nooo) and our bombing on the tac fails.
At the very end of the game, I had lost my will to keep going(okay... honestly I was hungry). As my bbr was escorting our tac con to the last tac rock on the map, a lack of probing and d gets us. A reg bbr run... with like ac3 or something, decimates our starbase.
Boy the stack kept my team going. Or, you could say, teamwork. We defended successfully against SBs for about an hour+, and had some moments of glory. I think it was a very fun game, even though we lost. If I hadn't dropped in the important part of the game, we would have kept 1 or 2 miners, have better positioned carriers, thus you would not have mined, and we probably would have bombed enemy team out of Allegiance. Champy took over command and did a great job. He got our econ cooking again and we had bases in almost all sectors of the map save for their home.
PS that carrier tactic was great /wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":iluv:" border="0" alt="wub.gif" /> Next time do it when I'm on your team plz not when i have to kill all those nans that pop out all the time /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

The carrier bombing was a big turn-around for IC. There was a lot of good coordination on it and the two bombers aspect helped as well. The other base was their sup high-left. The last 30 minutes of the game had the IC team discussing the incredible ridiculous power of Belter economy.
Does this go to show, that an un-gauranteed strategy (IC sup enh carrier) versus a tried and tested default one (belter tac) is always a loss? I hope not; otherwise Allegiance will become less spontaneous and fun. Need more quick thinking like DD & Abom's work on the carrier bobmer push to keep these unique games going.
Imagine if Abom "didn't have the stack" and how fast IC would have been wiped out without that offensive come-back. Oh well, just one of those great games, they aren't rare, but are distancing themselves.... Best;
Ty.

Had to go to bed after an hour of playing (joined 15-20 minutes in?), even though it was a fun game. I thought a reg bomb run was the way to win it - mass probage made it nigh-on impossible for sbs, and you had no tech to stop a good bomb run.
Oh and I was 45 miuntes late for work the next morning becuase of this /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />

You lucky we weren't GT, their econ beats Belts hands-down /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> I can't believe the beating GT can take and still throw out tech bases left and right. Now there's a really broken faction for ya /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
BTW without the stack you would have died a lot sooner, noobs and voobs in SF is not a good combo /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

my connection dropped during that...
ah, I wasn't doing very well anyway.
Is the ejects section how many people you ejected, or how many times you were ejected?
