Ah yes...but did you check the body count?
20 shot with guns..20 dead..
20 cut with knives...0 dead..
I think that stark reality eventualy will sink in...at least I can hope eh?

The fact that the event occurred is the problem. This is just arguing over symptoms.

He wasn't trying to kill them. Another bloke killed 8 in the same manner.

can you say that being injured instead of killed is really better, when those children are going to have to live with the experience of being attacked by an insane mother$#@!er with a knife in a school - a place they're supposed to feel safe?
that sort of trauma stays with a person for the rest of their lives

Of course its better to be injured compared to being dead. The only saving grace I'd give that would be alive but blind and para/quadrapalegic (sp). A knife wound doesn't even take all that long to heal so long as it doesnt go septic and contiminate major organs.
That is the dumbest argument I've heard for -anything- in the past year.
