May want to try in 16 bit mode if you have not yet done so. Maybe upping to 32 is too much for your system.

I've had this once while playing a very low money game. It does not matter what amount of miners you set. When you have no home HE rocks or in any of your sectors. You will have a miner that is also in an unknown location.

Ok, I had an odd issue this past week. Fired up beta through ASGS as normal. However, when trying to log back into main lobby, I had no luck. With either beta enabled or not, I continued to log in to Beta. Restarted ASGS, with no luck. Had to completely reinstall Alleg to get back to main lobby. It was a little frustrating because I had to reset key mappings, reinstall cort and high res graphics... etc. Not sure what caused this issue though.

Upon launching a single team game today, I crashed with EXCEPTION_ACCESS VIOLATION right away, luckily I had someone with me on the team, so the game wasnt destroyed. At the end of this game, after I typed #Resign, I crash again with EAV.

Map was Baconmap, if that is relevant.

O,o Yesterday and the days before I have been tesing DMX9 core on the very handy Beta Server.

Today I am about done with tweating things, and went to test them as I have been all along...

I get Error: Allegiance Game Server
An error occured while connecting to Game Server. The remote procedure call failed.

O,o
Did I break something? ( More kidding about that. )

Did something get updated between Friday and today Sunday 3/16/2008, that I might have missed?

During my testing I make sure my firewall allows full connection to the Beta server.

OOPS: Correction... I can connect to the Beta Server... It is the AllegServer that fails to connect now... O,o Sorry about that.

I am not able to now host my own lan game to test things. O,o

Nothing should have changed between this past Fri and today. Actually nothing should have changed since the release of the 'bandwidth patch' on the beta server a week or two ago. I'll go take a look at the beta server now.

Edit: Server seems fine.

If you are not using the latest R5 beta server and client to connect (there is nothing in the new versions that changes anything with the cores between R4 and R5 (yet)) get them here:

Thanks Dog,

I found out what it was... O,o

It was my server not launching, I guess to protect things from a massive crash. All due to some settings I made in my core. I replace my junk with my last good copy and things ran fine again. O,o

I am keeping that link you sent to me, and I am using R5 Beta thanks to Apoch hooking me up. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Seems it was my error. So, back to the drawing board I go. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Thank you,
Kite

Should we make an R5 'Known Issues' thread?
