I wouldn't read anything into that. He just skeerd because he knows I'm watching and waiting to pounce on his first sign of weakness /ninja.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ninja:" border="0" alt="ninja.gif" />

OK pay attention now about SPQR
1. I gave them the nickname Sporks and for what it is worth I only give silly names to those I like AND respect very, very much ( i.e. drizzler ). To my great enjoyment the name has stuck as just such a sign.
2. I was asked to be the ACE rep to SPQR at the beginnings of the squad and hope this is remembered in the lore in the days to come when they are busy cornholing those squads who are now on top.
3. I was very flattered to find my name was part of the first password they used as a squad. I feel silly waiting this long to say, "Thank you for the honor lady and gents."
4. I was bummed to find out we didn't get them as our partner for the tourney ( it's cool since Crono's evil good nature, Jay's one tracked mind, voobie's just being his voobieness, etc etc keeps me from crying myself to sleep every night )
5. I have a great respect for the leadership of SPQR who are showing an outstanding amount of maturity and leadership in what we all know can be a difficult and thankless job of starting a fresh squad.
6. I also am relieved to see the front line Sporks holding in tough while getting the snot bashed out of them, and learning about each other and becoming teammates.
7. FYI XT membership isnt the only squadies offering help and advice in getting SPQR off the ground. It just hasn't been mentioned or made general knowledge. To be fair the pairing for the tourney makes XT's involvement front and center.
While DaWife had to take a few to task initially, any number of XT's members have been exhibiting the kind of behavior no one can fault. Helpful, good natured, and cool. I only felt sad to see some ( Psych wasn't one IMHO ) kind of @#(! on the table for others. The problem is if I might be blunt, and butt-in-ski, is somehow some of you are equating winning with the community's respect and your own squad's legacy. They are not always one and the same

I have great respect for all squads but nothing good will come from bashing each other. Let's just lock this thread and play the damn game! /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
*salutes*
