Don't. Even in a 30 vs 30, losing -say- 6 people hurts a team.

Do you need players as a com who don't support you? /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

They might have a sudden change of heart once they realise that their mutiny totally and utterly failed, in any case, auto booting all the people who voted yes is a bit harsh /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

It should be up to the comm to decide whether he wants to boot them or not.

I like that idea, mogas. But what if, after the #munity fails, it goes up for vote to boot that player? Let the whole team vote...

Great, I'm trying to mutiny and AFK newb com, and I get booted off the team because it's full of voobs who abstain.

Is the spinning graphic on the main screen going gold? Cause I don't like it.

Abstains should not count when auto booting.

Only if the resign gets beaten by a no.

I've tried to stay quiet and read everyone's responses before posting my comments. I guess now it's time.
Mutiny spamming isn't any more of a problem than #resign spamming. It will be dealt with in the same way.Multi-mutiny really is a problem that multi-resign doesn't have. It will be quite confusing if all 4 pass and the comm switches up so quickly. I agree with the suggestion to prevent two #mutiny votes at once. All subsequent #mutiny attempts will be ignored until current proposals are complete. That's my opinion.I thought of a possible crash scenario - a corner case that may not have been accounted for in the new #mutiny code.can Tigereye propose a mutiny, then leave... and after his departure from the game everyone votes "yes" to give him comm. What happens when he wins? Is the mutiny ignored? Or does the server attempt to promote (null) to commander? My position on the con changes... I think cons should NEVER dodge friendly players. Not in flight, not when setting up, and not when inserting. Currently the changes only prevent friendly dodges during the last 'inserting' phase. That's cool, but I'd love for it to be a 'global thing'.
There are my opinions and concerns.

I want to make sure we don't give people an opportunity to crash the servers by #mutiny-leaving as I described above. That will really suck, so we should make sure it's impossible now during testing before it goes live.

Other than that, Dogbones - let me know when you feel there has been sufficient conversation to warrant community-wide polls; one for each gameplay change proposed in R4.

Dumb question: Why is R4 so much sharper?

Edit: Something to do with that package we had to DL I guess?
