Hello All,
Another new player here. I read the cadet material and I think I have the basics of flight and navigation well in hand. Unfortunately, being a decent pilot isn't worth much if you're never in the right sector and this is where I'm hoping to get some advice from the cadet program.
I often encounter a scenario where I decide it would be useful for me to do something, for example miner D. So yawn and try to stay awake while following a miner around only to hear that a Con is under attack somewhere else! I go there to try to defend the con, but it's already either dead or building by the time I get there, and now the miner that I left is under attack!
In reading the forums, it seems that this community has little patience for that kind of incompetence so I hope to shed it quickly.
In all MP games I play, I enjoy joining the losing team even if it's a futile effort, sort of an anti-statwhore. It can be frustrating but those few times that you can save the day make it all worthwhile! So all you losers out there, keep the faith, I'm on my way
