Hello, I too am a new player.
I am still trying to get the training missions to soak in to the grey matter in between my ears. For the past 4 years, I played another space-ish mmo and finally gave up on it a couple of weeks ago..
Are there any web graphics, like banners, that I could add to my web sites to help promote this game? Not that its a newbie question but thought I'd ask while I am here.

Feel free to message me if that is easier.
So, back to reading and playing in the training.

Spliffy's Blog has quite a few graphics you can check out. Some aren't appropriate as a permanent banner, or are the right size for a banner, but you might find something there you can use or get inspiration from. The link I provided is just one of his pages. You'll need to navigate around a bit to see them all.

Welcome.
The forums can heat up quite a bit sometimes, but luckily the atmosphere in the game itself tends to be very good.

I read that as 'how die', and thought that's a particularly strange greeting.

~2 it is a traditional regional greeting in the US. It is considered outgoing and exceedingly friendly.

Wow, I can't believe you all are still playing this.. lol! My friend and I got into it a long time ago when Microsoft owned it, and after they dropped it we still wanted to play. I can see we weren't the only ones. Thank you for whoever picked this up and kept it alive, I am assuming it is all of you in part

I just wish I could remember what I did with my awesome joystick...lol. Hope to see you all in game.

Hey Xash and Rodlen, welcome

.
Xash good luck with finding a joystick you really like. Many people around here recommend the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro or something like that (The rugged, metal one). I myself used to fly with a joystick but have since been forced to move to mouse and, to be honest, I love the accuracy so much more!
Rodlen, keep it up staying on TS and asking questions
