This is a very interesting statement about him, I don't condone cop killers but still:

"Dorner could be legally fired for filing a false police report even if the report was true"

I think Dr. Marc Lamont Hill stated it best on The Bill O'Reilly Show...

Basically, he stated that Dorner was a nutcase, and was a horrible person. But at the same time, he stated that there should probably be an investigation into the LAPD as to why this whole thing started in the first place. He also stated that the reason some people are actually in support of Dorner and his manifesto is because he's trying to 'stick it to the man.' As conservative as I am, I think Bill O'Reilly was dead wrong in this segment, and that Dr. Hill hit the nail on the head. I'd love to sit down with Dr. Hill for a day and just have at it.

That being said, Dorner was garbage, trash, a monster, you name it. You don't declare war against every member of the LAPD, much less their innocent relatives, because someone higher up in administration wronged you. That's as asinine as shooting up a retail store because the managers in the store wouldn't let you return an item. Why take it out on the peons? On top of that, his first two victims weren't even cops. They were simply relatives of someone involved in his internal investigation. How the HELL did this guy pass his psychological exam to become a cop?
He needed to either be arrested or put down, and preferably the second. I don't give two sh*ts that they started to burned the house down with him in it. Sorry, Metz, we'll agree to disagree on this part. Less money for the CA taxpayers to house this piece of trash for 10 years until his death sentence appeals are done. Oh yeah, that's right... blue-ass CA has the death penalty, but MN doesn't? o.O

And LAPD? Lulz. Been a joke of a police force for the better part of the century. For a state that has almost as stringent requirements to earn a Peace Officer license as Minnesota... they sure have a lot of Downies working there. Shooting up a blue truck for being blue? And wounding the occupants? State's broke enough as it is... now they're gonna owe millions? Who the hell is doing the training for these cops?

TL;DR - Dorner's dead and it's good. LAPD has corruption; shocking. Metz should probably go pro with his trolling.

The police department is not to be judge, jury, and executioner (especially by live burnings). If you can justify the police behaving this way, you can just as easily justify one man behaving this way. Justifiable homicide is justifiable homicide, right? Whether or not it done by a cop (or an ex-cop).

and rarely do people actually ever get executed on death row, they typically will sit on death row, appealing until they die of natural causes, so it's an incredible waste of money however you slice it
(though I'm not opposed to the idea of people dying who deserve it, I did vote against the death penalty in CA since it is just pointless keeping people on death row indefinitely)

To enter would have meant death for all who attempted. "Burning the mother$#@!er down" gave him the option to kill himself (which he was always going to do), exit the house with guns blazing, or to exit the house unarmed and surrender. Had he been joe schmoe, armed with a handgun or two, I'd feel much differently. But the bastard had weaponry too dangerous to attempt entry against. "Smoking him out" had far less officer risk to it.

Gotta make like Texas.... put in an express lane.......
