Yep. Ships have names. One's even named after me. Does that make me uber-super-coder of doom?

Yes there are ways to get through ASGS, but that is not the issue which was being exploited in the incidents of a couple weeks ago.

Imago knew about the hole IN THE OPEN SOURCE LOBBY code, and I guess since he wasnt smart enough to plug the hole, he decided to exploit it.

Several holes were well known by those in the know for many many years. To pretend imago is the only one who ignored them is idiocy at its best.

Do you even have a point, or are you practicing putting words together in sentences again?

The point is..... You, and others blame imago for not fixing holes, either for being lazy or incapable, when you your self, and others knew of the holes and did nothing to fix them either.

Do not kick people unless you are prepared to kick your self.

OMG, you really must be the idiot people say you are.
NOBODY is "blaming imago for not fixing holes", people blame imago for EXPLOITING such holes, teaching others how to do the same, and disrupting game play. Got it?!!

I don't know whether you're blind, illiterate, or just plain stupid. I was involved in fixing it, before imago even exploited the stupid hole in the first place we had a fix in code and ready to go, it was just up to TE to integrate it into R5 and deploy it once imago started exploiting it.

Do you get it? How can I explain this more simply so that you can understand?

Xynth and I
Fixed
This
Before
Imago
Started
Exploiting
The
Hole

okay? need any help? need me to walk you through that? Let me know if you have any questions or if you need any further clarification on that.

OK! I haven't had a say yet, but I'm going to now.

My first point is that, yes, imago is not blamed for the holes not being fixed but more for pointing them out, enabling/exploiting or allowing a gateway for abuse of the system. Someone then took advantage of it.

Think of Allegiance as an internet village. It's a system of co-dependency built upon trust, but most of us would not know each other face to face, so we have to make tokens of trust with each other, by being given an opportunity to break something that is very important and then choosing not to break it. (<<sketchy description of a thought.)

MY MAIN POINTS:---->>

This is a fan maintained game.

We don't expect perfection.

Just no cheating!

I hope that has cleared things up a bit! :P
