Here are some metrics, sorted from shortest average to largest average:

Average ms to Solap (over 28 values): 87.7ms
Average ms to Planet (over 31 values): 97.9ms
Average ms to Stripe (over 36 values): 103ms
Average ms to GPZ (over 35 values): 133ms

Note that since not everybody posted their values to all 4 servers, all of these averages aren't weighted equally (ie: Only 28 people posted values to Solap)

EDIT: Imago, "to get it allowed" wtf?

Solap: NA at time of test
Planet: 56ms
Stripe: 89ms
GPZ: 183ms
Sacramento, CA

on a side note, the averages may prove the theory that planet is the best server to play on :)

Or it may prove that more people from the US read the forums and are closer to planet which skews the data, since our data set is based entirely on people who read the forums and/or post.

Stripe 297
Planet 258
GPZ 384
Solap N/A

From Wellington, New Zealand.

Kind of explains why I haven't really been playing since moving here, used to be <200 to planet in the previous two places I've lived. That and real life getting in the way.

Stripe: 39 ms
Planet - 73 ms
GPZ - 132 ms

Toronto

Both GPZ and Planet hit me with occasional packet loss (well, mostly GPZ), but I haven't observed any on Stripe, so far anyway.
