Eag, usually it's not "newbie hatred" that prevents a comm from accepting you... it's usually that he's trying to keep a stack from getting worse. Try to join the team with the highest rank.

Hey guys. Im pretty suprised this game is still around. I was one of the Original players. Like I still have the disk. I always wondered why it just died out. Well I installed the game, and downloaded a patch, but i still dont see any game playable. Im doing something wrong obiously. Can someone tell me the quickest, easiest way to get in the action again...

Download the Allegiance installer from this website.

Install

Use ASGS to log in. (After creating a callsign on this website)

If that doesn't work, got to Helpline. They will help

Perhaps you're installing from the original disk - that won't work now, you need to download & install the version from this website. The source code was made available from microsoft and we have developed (& developing) our own code base now.

Hey, Hey, Hey. Make way for another noob. I'm trying to do through the Cadet training. Is it really worth it? Seems like it will be, cause I'm ready to kick ass, but my ass just keeps exploding!

Cadet is totally worth it, just listen to this testimonial:

"Hi, I'm Phoenix1. You may remember me best as the padding to your KB. Well not anymore!

Subscribe to four weeks of Cadet 1tm followed by four weeks of Cadet 2tm and pretty soon the newbies will be your kb padding! I went from this: to this in just eight weeks! On top of that, I've even started commanding and squads are willing to accept me on their teams rather than just spitting on my face!"

NOTE: XT will still spit on your face. There ain't nothing you can do about that.

In all seriousness though, Cadet1 is important to get you into Cadet2. If you've read the Allegiance academy material you're at something like 90-95% of what Cadet 1 has for you. There is NO (and I do mean NO) substitute for Cadet 2, however. The way the community will react to your CDT-A (or CDT-B, but I doubt we'll ever have that many folks playing again) tag is almost all the learning experience. I would not have learned to fly the way I do now if certain personalities hadn't said, "Get a fig and follow me, Cadet." Cadet 1 teaches you how to be useful in a game, Cadet 2 teaches you how to be good at the game.

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

Hi. Also new to this game. Played other flight simish games, although pretty much expect that'll give me a sum total of -5 exp. How useful...
