Please include relevant information such as GFX card.

A few issues came up when testing alliances today; I dunno if they're already known or not, but I don't see them mentioned in this thread, so:
- Bases can still be damaged/killed by the AB weaponry of allied teams, even when allied ships, drones, etc., are not harmed by friendly fire. (TTs and HTTs can't capture allied bases, though: EMP will bring the shields down, but docking will just re-launch the transport as with any other allied ship. We didn't test NG, that might be interesting. >_<)
- While you can dock at allied bases, autopilot will not guide you to the green door automatically.
- Docking at an allied base is not the same as docking at a carrier; it repairs, but does not resupply.
- Miners will automatically try to dock at allied bases, unsuccessfully: They will go to the green door and sit there.
- While allied bombers/htts/etc. do not cause a "station at risk" warning, allied TP probes do.
- Carriers, drones, etc. get "at risk" warnings when allied ships enter a sector.
- Miners from allied teams will mine the same He rocks, instead of picking an unoccupied rock.
Sorry if any of these are already known! If I got anything wrong, hopefully someone else from the game will come by and correct me.

- Game does not end when only one alliance remains: it has to be drawn manually (I seem to remember this being mentioned before, but not in this thread, so, here it is.) This is the case even when all the tech bases of the other alliance have been destroyed/captured.TurkeyXIII wrote:QUOTE (TurkeyXIII @ Jun 24 2009, 12:53 PM) It's more a matter of... you get warnings when you can see allied drones in danger. Not a huge bug, but kind of pointless since you can't rip to their carriers and their miners can't dock at your bases.

Just for reference since that's what we were testing and the thread is a bit forgotten : http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/index...st&p=291960
Also a minor glitch, when a allied base is discovered (since the scan vision isn't shared) the red notification is talking about an "enemy base".
<edit: another even more minor glitch -> in the lobby when for example you are playing with 3 teams and the two first are already allied, when you click on the third one the label is saying "Ally with team 1, 2" but if you do so the game become a ffa again.>

The current FAZ build is from November. Many of these issues will be fixed when an updated EXE is pushed out.

This is the issue that is fixed, at least with my build. hopefully we'll get some updates out sooner than later.

These bugs haven't been fixed yet because don't have any developers interested in fixing them up. --Tigereye

I hope to have an updated executable (based on all the work Imago has recently done) ready for download by the end of the weekend, if not sooner.
Since Imago built off the version that is on the beta server now and that version was never well tested, testing this version still has value.
