Hello All,

Im new to this game, but im not new to gaming! Im from the 1980's generation of gamers so im old. Im 53 years old and
have been gaming for 30 years. Im from Norway as i guess u allready know from my nick.
My proffesions is data/nettwork engeneering. (what else?, started gaming with the Commodore 64 at techschool in the early 80's)

My gaming for the last years, BF2, BF2142, All CoD games, BiA, and a number of strategy games.

I came across this game on the internet and thought i give it a go since i am a teamplayer. Not many of those these days. If anyone think BF is a teamgame, it isn't!

I realy like this gameengine and its a kind of complex game with a lot of stuff to learn. :) Graphics and handling could offcourse be better but after all this is a old game
and im impressed by the gamerole in this game.

Looking forward to the cadett training. :o

The handling thing also just takes time. I remember when I was first playing... also a lot of newbies you'll find have difficulty pointing their ship in the right direction.

Hello!

[quote=""FA-Wiki""]Given the enormous amount of factors to reckon with, it takes the average player somewhere between 3 and 6 months to firmly grasp the basics.

Excellent attitude Xizornor

Lots of adult gamers here. Strap on your helmet, and get ready for a bumpy ride.

Jesus tapdancing christ this game's learning curve is more like a learning cliff........perfect.

for the longest time i've been playing games that are like "HURR! POINT AND CLICK!"...ive always wanted to play a game that required you to actually use your brain in order to effectivly play, and i think i just might have found it. the fact that it's free is also what makes this an epic win.

ive played this game a few times so far, and im liking it! but most of the terminology people here use confounds me to no end, and just getting used to all the different game modes and controls requires quite a bit of work, which to me is quite refreshing...i like a good challenge!

im intending to continue playing this game whenever i have a chance, im glad to have found this little jewel in the middle of the interwebz!

BTW - i have quickly found out that not having ripcord capability = the biggest pain in the ass, lol
